Jennifer Wilbur started her career in health care as a Certified Public Accountant for a large, regional accounting firm in
the Health Care division. She transitioned to the healthcare industry and worked for a large urban hospital for many years.
She has remained in industry, either as a consultant or in the Finance or Revenue Cycle division in urban and rural hospitals,
or in physician practice management. Over the past 15 years, she has consulted for rural and urban hospitals in all areas
of Financial Operations and Revenue Cycle Management. She has been employed in the hospital setting for the past 11 years
and has managed or directed all the departments of Finance and Revenue Cycle Management including: Accounting, Budget, Cost
Accounting, Reimbursement and Regulatory Reporting, Contract Management, Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit, Process
Improvement, Utilization Review, Chargemaster Redesign and Maintenance, Patient Financial Services, Admitting, Scheduling
and Pre-Authorization. She has been the CFO in both urban and rural hospitals. In addition, she has managed and consulted
for physician and medical practices. She has developed and led numerous educational seminars related to various healthcare
issues.
